Description
The Winnipeg Jets head to Missouri on Thursday night for a matchup with the St. Louis Blues.
But once again, the out-of-town scoreboard isn’t doing them any favours.
The Nashville Predators rolled to a 5-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday, leapfrogging the Los Angeles Kings and moving into the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
That leaves Winnipeg four points back of Nashville.
With just five games remaining, the margin for error is gone.
What once felt like a long shot is becoming even more difficult by the day, as realistic playoff hopes continue to fade.
Cam and Jim break it all down, while also weighing in on Jonathan Toews being nominated for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, the social media reaction to keeping Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor together, and Connor Hellebuyck missing practice.
Plus, Jayson Hajdu of College Hockey Inc. joins the show to discuss the NCAA Frozen Four in Las Vegas. How is the NCAA landscape shifting, and what impact is it having on major junior hockey?
All that and more on today’s edition of Jets at Noon.
