Wayback Wednesday: Programmed to Kill

Published 2 weeks, 5 days ago
Description

This week, we begin a series of Wayback Wednesday episodes drawn from our archive of programs going back to 2009. One of our very first programs was an interview with the late Dave McGowan, author of the book Programmed to Kill.

Originally released August 23, 2009

BY REQUEST, I’m pulling an interview from my archive of shows compiled during my time as a talk radio host for the mainstream media. A couple of days ago, a P.I.D. Radio listener suggested we talk with researcher and author Dave McGowan.

As it happens, back in June of 2007, I interviewed Dave about his disturbing book Programmed to Kill: The Politics of Serial Murder. (I’m still amazed I was allowed to bring guests like Dave onto a fairly typical mainstream talk radio station. And we actually won our time slot for talk radio listeners!)

You can read the first section of Programmed to Kill, the part that deals with what Dave calls “the Pedophocracy”, online. Find Part 1 by clicking here.

If you’d like to buy a copy of Programmed to KillAmazon.com has it in stock.
