His drinking destroyed relationships, cost him jobs, and left him trapped in a cycle of regret and hopelessness. In 1989, he joined Alcoholics Anonymous, where he struggled at first but stayed consistent, finding inspiration from mentors and working the 12 steps. Over time, Chris experienced a spiritual awakening, rebuilding his life through connection, service, and a renewed sense of purpose.
