Segment 3: Rock and Roll

One of the participants of Ian Whitcomb’s Monday evening Salons, I believe he’s the co-founder, is the author of several books on music history – Jim Dawson. Jim points out in his book, “rock and roll” was used as a term for dancing as early as the mid 1920s, and I am going to play some records which are mentioned in the book.
