Drone Rescue Saves Hiker in the Prescott Dells
Description
On March 28th at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Prescott Technical Support Unit (TSU) responded to the Granite Gardens area within the Prescott Dells to assist the Prescott Fire Department in locating an injured hiker. The Technical Support Unit (TSU) is a specialized joint team comprised of Prescott Police and Fire personnel who are specially trained in Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) operations. A TSU drone operator deployed an unmanned aerial system and successfully located the injured hiker.
