Elena and John Parolin have been targeted by masked thieves for the third time since September, with the latest attempted break-in thwarted by a private security guard the grandparents hired for protection. The couple was previously threatened at gunpoint by four armed offenders just last week. Police have made arrests overnight and are investigating links between this attack and other attempted break-ins in nearby streets including Bulimba.
