You may recognize yourself as:

These roles helped you survive.
But they are not the full truth of who you are.
Identity Beyond Trauma
Recovery invites a new question:
“Who am I beyond what happened to me?”
This is where transformation begins.
Not through pressure.
Not through performance.
But through renewal.
Romans 12:2 reminds us:
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Awareness Is the First Step
Before change comes awareness.
Awareness allows you to:
- Observe your patterns without judgment
- Recognize what is survival vs identity
- Create space for something new

- Where did I learn to become who I am today?
- What part of me feels like survival instead of identity?
- What am I beginning to notice about myself?
There is no judgment in the answer.
