Douglas Rife earned bachelor's and master's degrees in History at Iowa State University. He is the author of more than 25 books and is a developer of products for educators and school administrators. His passion for American history has led him to republish local histories, preserve historical sites, and assist in drafting legislation to protect cemeteries in his home state.
