Sl: Sonce je sijalo skozi okna Ljubljanske javne gimnazije, ko so se učenci veselili prihajajočega izleta.
En: The sun was shining through the windows of Ljubljanska public gymnasium as the students eagerly anticipated the upcoming trip.
Sl: Zala je stala ob oknu in sanjarila.
En: Zala stood by the window, daydreaming.
Sl: "Ta izlet bo popoln," je pomislila.
En: "This trip will be perfect," she thought.
Sl: "Morda bom našla nekaj navdiha za novo zgodbo."
En: "Perhaps I'll find some inspiration for a new story."
Sl: Matevž je sedel v zadnji klopi. Opazoval je Zalo, kako njene misli mejijo na tla pod sabo.
