True Crime at 99X Pt. 1
Description
The Morning X is bringing you a real-life true crime story that sounds straight out of an urban legend. Listen in as Barnes, Leslie, and Jimmy welcome a local car dealer and one of their very own station employees to the studio to unravel a sequence of events. When two mysterious strangers show up attempting to quickly offload a vehicle for cash using entirely fake paperwork, an incredibly sharp-eyed businessman sets a clever trap to uncover the truth. But the shock comes when he traces the paperwork and realizes the vehicle's true owner works right at the radio station. Hear a firsthand account of a calculated targeting, a neighborhood stakeout, and a terrifying commute that originally left the employee fearing for her own personal safety.
This is from the Best of The Morning X vault.
