“Send Coach John a message”

I came across a fabulous post from Minions World (@minionswld) which shared this one sentence that hit me hard: “Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach.”  It goes on to say that this is true “because the truth is, we can only understand certain things after we grow, after we go through life and after time quietly teaches us what we once didn’t know.”  This really hit me with how this sentence should also be connected to our relationships with other people - the people that we are really close with. Our pasts do inter-connect with those people that we are close to. Love these deep reflective points, as you can hear in my voice with this episode.
