The American people are no more than indentured servants to the ever-expanding, Goliath ship of the state — a bloated, unaccountable Leviathan that slipped its constitutional moorings long ago and is now drifting wildly, captained by fools and looted by pirates.

The secession movement in Alberta, Canada offers Americans the opportunity to reflect on how to extricate themselves from this situation.
