US Special Forces, the CIA and Navy SEAL Team 6 successfully rescued an American airman who was hiding in a mountain crevice in Iran after his fighter jet was shot down on Friday. The airman hiked two kilometres up a ridgeline and maintained intermittent contact using a secure communication device before being extracted in what's being called the 'Easter miracle'. President Trump has issued threats to Iran and set a deadline expiring 10am Wednesday Australian Eastern Standard Time, while reports suggest the US and Iran are considering a 45-day ceasefire.
