Banned driver's dramatic escape attempt through Greenacre

Description
A 33-year-old banned driver crashed his Subaru into a tree on Boronia Road in Greenacre around 11pm, then fled on foot through neighbours' backyards. The man travelled approximately one kilometre to Illawong Crescent, where he asked residents for clothes, access to a shower, and attempted to call an Uber before being arrested by police. He faces five charges including possession of a prohibited drug and providing false details to police at Bankstown Police Station.
