In the days following the resurrection, Jesus steadily built the faith of His followers through personal encounters and undeniable evidence of His life. From meeting Thomas and calling him to believe, to appearing to over 500 people and revealing truths about God's Kingdom, Jesus strengthened their confidence and understanding. His ascension reminded them that His mission was not over, but would continue with a promised return. Then, fifty days after the resurrection, the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost empowered believers with boldness and ability, marking the beginning of the Church era.
