Carter wakes up to a strange feeling in his Card Core and discovers that his Fire Dragonling card is hiding a very big surprise. The little dragon finally breaks free, reveals he can talk, and introduces himself as Magnus—a clever, powerful companion with a long history of being overlooked. Together, Carter and Magnus set out for the Beginner Forest, where Carter faces his first real challenge as a cardholder and discovers a powerful new card that could change everything.
