67. What Chronic Exhaustion Feels Like For Me
Description
In this week’s reflection episode, I talk about what chronic exhaustion actually feels like for me. Not just physically, but emotionally and mentally. I recorded this in the middle of a spiral, during a moment when I realized that my way of “pushing through” life wasn’t sustainable anymore. This episode is about hitting a breaking point, feeling everything at once, and starting to understand why.
This episode is more of a real-time processing moment than a structured explanation. As I talk through what I’m feeling, the deeper realizations begin to unfold naturally throughout the episode.
In this episode, I share:
- What chronic exhaustion feels like when you’ve been “pushing through” for too long.
- The mental loops of perfectionism, self-doubt, and feeling like you’re never doing enough.
- My experience with emotional overwhelm, shutdowns, and not being able to fully rest.
- How quiet, long-term pain can go unnoticed but still deeply affect you.
- The realization that this level of burnout might be a turning point, not a failure.
Journal prompt of the week:
If I didn’t have to earn my rest, what would I allow myself to do differently?
