She was 29, a model and law graduate who advocated against domestic violence. He claimed intruder. She was found with her phone in the bathroom - why would an intruder bring a phone? Neighbors heard screaming before the shots. Text messages revealed fear: "I'm scared of u sometimes." Found guilty of murder after appeals. Served 8.5 years. Released January 2024. Now 38, dating again while Reeva's mother serves a life sentence of grief.
