Moses instructed all generations after the Children of Israel were freed from Egypt, to observe the Passover traditions (Exodus 12.) Jesus, as a devout Jew, observed the Passover throughout his life and taught new meaning in observing it (Luke 22.)  The word Passover is in the original scriptures but not the word Easter.
