On March 15, northwest Fresno apartment complex: Shooting. 21-year-old Jamie Martinez allegedly shot and killed 32-year-old Shannon Ivory after a roommate dispute. Suspect identified; under investigation with $3,000 reward. KFSN reports.
March 19, southwest Fresno: Shooting. 40-year-old Michael Dorsey allegedly shot and killed Perry Paul Espinosa after a fight. Suspect identified; under investigation with $3,000 reward. KFSN reports.
March 27, Tulare and Collins streets area: Weapons violation. Officers on probation check found live ammunition in a replica firearm inside a vehicle occupied by 34-year-old Jesus Torres, who was arrested. Fresno PD reports.
April 2 evening, near Fulton Street during ArtHop: Multiple brawls with two stabbings. 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old woman stabbed in separate fights; both expected to survive. A 29-year-old woman suffered a broken nose. Seven detained and released; no arrests in stabbings. Investigation ongoing for felony assault suspects; canvassing for video. ABC30 reports.
