Followed by The Grape Nuts Flakes program starring Orson Welles filling in for Jack Benny,  originally broadcast April 4, 1943, 83 years ago, Little Red Riding Hood.  The cast does its version of, "Little Red Riding Hood." 

Then, The Charlie McCarthy Show, originally broadcast April 4, 1948, 78 years ago, with guest star Rudy Vallee.  Edgar, the bird-watcher, describes Ken Murray's Academy Award-winning short film, "Bill and Coo." Guest Ken Murray teaches Charlie "Bird Language." Barbara Bel Geddes and Rudy Vallee appear with Charlie in a scene from, "I Remember Mama."

Followed by The Great Gildersleeve starring Willard Waterman, originally broadcast April 4, 1951, 75 years ago, Boat Access.   Mr. Bullard is being very nice to Gildersleeve...could it be because Commissioner Gildersleeve assigns permits for bringing sailboats onto the lake?

Finally, Fibber McGee and Molly, originally broadcast April 4, 1955, 71 years ago, McGee Looks for his Raincoat.  Fibbers asks, "Now, where is my raincoat?"
