Today we’re anchored in Book of Isaiah 53:5, “He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” What’s crazy about this verse is it was written hundreds of years before Jesus, yet it describes exactly what He would go through.
