A source close to the Nancy Guthrie investigation says deputies within the Pima County Sheriff’s Office are “walking on eggshells” with their department in the national spotlight for alleged mistakes involving the investigation into the missing 84-year-old. The source says there are no suspects — and “no names on the table.” The source says experienced, qualified detectives were not part of the investigation initially which may have had a lasting impact related to progress in the case. The source has a message for Savannah Guthrie.
