The Minnesota Wild officially clinched a postseason berth with a 5-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks Thursday night at Grand Casino Arena. The Wild improved to 42-21-12 with the win, and overcame a 2-1 deficit with 4 unanswered goals in the second and third periods. Matt Boldy scored his 39th and 40th goals, Kirill Kaprizov added his 40th goal, Ryan Hartman scored twice to back Filip Gustavsson, who recorded his 100th career win as a Wild goalie. Quinn Hughes recorded his 46th assist as a Wild defenseman, which is a franchise record for a single season assists. The Wild now head on the road for two games this weekend, as they now play out the final 7 games of the season to see if they will host the first round or head on the road against the Dallas Stars.
