President Trump today issued a harsh warning to Iran, saying there’s “more to follow” after the U.S. destroyed the Middle East’s largest bridge. This comes a day after the president’s primetime address to the nation on the progress of Operation Epic Fury.
The president today also announced that Pam Bondi is out as attorney general and that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will step in to serve as acting attorney general. Bondi posted on X that she will be moving to an “important private sector role,” where she will continue fighting for the Trump administration.
On the anniversary of Liberation Day, President Trump signed a proclamation strengthening Section 232 tariffs on steel, aluminum, and copper. The updated rules impose 50 percent tariffs on most metal products, 25 percent on derivatives, and lower rates for equipment using U.S. metals.
