From Tailgate Talks to Real Support: Building a Healthy Workplace Culture for Men

Published 2 months, 1 week ago
Description

Delaine Bennett is a Calgary-based Registered Social Worker who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating stress, trauma, and life challenges. Before moving into private practice, she spent over 16 years working in child protection, where she saw firsthand how pressure, burnout, and unresolved trauma affect people and families. Raised in a farming and oilfield community and now married to a carpenter who runs his own business, Delaine has a deep appreciation for the realities of trades work. She’s passionate about expanding the definition of workplace safety to include mental and emotional health, because safety on the job doesn’t start with hard hats — it starts with people feeling safe enough to talk about what they’re carrying.
