Ep. 49 Cover to Cover- Deuteronomy 5-34 and Joshua 1-20
Description
Synopsis:
A pile of stones. A city with a violent past. And a God who refuses to leave broken stories unfinished. In this episode, we explore how God invites us into covenant love, calls us to remember, and quietly works redemption in places we least expect.
In this episode you will hear:
- First, what does it truly mean to fear the Lord and serve Him alone? We explore God’s covenant love—a love marked by overwhelming generosity, deep devotion, and a call to find our identity in Him rather than in the lesser things that so easily entangle us.
- Second, we consider the importance of telling our stories. From the rock memorials of the Jordan to the voices of the Psalms, Scripture reminds us that faith is meant to be shared—especially in the ordinary, everyday moments. This Holy Week, we ask: what has God done in your life, and who needs to hear about it?
- Finally, we look for redemption in unexpected places. Through the story of Shechem, we see how God can transform even the most broken and painful histories into places of refuge and hope. Nothing is beyond His ability to restore.
