There's been mixed reaction to the government's proposal to extend the rent-a-room scheme to modular buildings. Under the proposals, people could get up to 14 thousand euro a year tax-free for building a modular home in their back garden for rent. Opposition parties have criticised the proposal - calling the units "beds in sheds".
