Amanda explains how the end of her 23-year marriage, financial insecurity, and moving from a renovated “forever home” into a rental pushed her to focus on creating calm through an expertly managed move, which later became the inspiration for her business which she launched with partner Louise Beck. She discusses transferable skills from years of renovation project management, challenges re-entering work, scaling via subcontract teams, pricing transparently by time, the value of therapy, relationships, and support from Louise, her children, and clients’ feedback.
