Although there has not been a mass exodus of millions of people, hundreds of Iranians continue to cross into Turkey every day through the Kapıköy , Gürbulak , and Esendere gates. Travel Restrictions : The governments of Turkey and Iran have suspended " same -day round -trip " passenger travel . Crossings are now permitted only for citizens returning to their respective countries or third-country nationals with valid documents.
