Back to EpisodesWILD: UConn STUNS Duke at BUZZER, Jon Scheyer WASTES Roster, Final Four Set with Arizona Leading Way
Description
The March Madness landscape has been reshaped, and this episode of The Drake Toll Show on Westwood One Sports breaks down a historic weekend of Elite Eight action. The headline belongs to UConn, as the Huskies pulled off a stunning 19-point comeback to eliminate top-seeded Duke. Freshman Braylon Mullins provided the "one shining moment," burying a 35-foot triple at the buzzer to secure a 73-72 victory and avenge a 36-year-old heartbreak.
The show also dives into Michigan’s dominant 95-62 rout of Tennessee, fueling the Wolverines' first Final Four run since 2018 under Dusty May. On the women’s side, UConn remains perfect at 38-0 after grinding past Notre Dame, while UCLA rallied late to bounce Duke from the bracket.
