Stay Anchored

Episode 672 Published 1 month ago
Description

False prophecy often raves, plays the madman, and moves through agitated, spasmodic actions. Scripture shows that an evil spirit came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house. Not all prophecy is from God. Not all spiritual expression is the Holy Spirit’s power.

Some manifestations are abnormal, driven, and disconnected from the Word of God. They may sound spiritual, but they deviate from Scripture if followed long enough. Truth never leads outside the written Word of God. God’s Spirit brings clarity and conviction and aligns with Scripture.

When spiritual activity becomes chaotic, threatening, or condemning toward those who test it by the Word of God, then something is wrong. Don’t measure spirituality by intensity or movement. Measure it by truth, by the fruit that it bears, and by its submission to the Word of God. Stay anchored in God.

It’s time to pray.
