Our conversation runs the gamut from Hell on Earth to finding a little hope along the way. Naomi writes about family connections, church connections, lasting damage and the healing power of the environment.
Naomi Ulsted writes fiction and non-fiction. She’s the author of the YA novel The Apology Box (2021), which was runner-up in the Indies Today contest and a finalist in the Next Generation Indies Book Award contest. Her memoir, A Bouquet of Weeds: Growing Up Wild in the Pacific Northwest, is forthcoming from High Frequency Press. She’s been published in The Nomad, Rumpus, and The New Guard, among others. She lives in North Bend, Oregon.
