Construction of Clare's first ever publicly owned dog park is now underway.
The Shannon Municipal District has confirmed that an appropriate site has been identified and that fencing works are now underway.
The pilot project is expected to pave the way for more facilities to open in the Shannon Electoral Area in the near future.
