Israel also targeted nuclear facilities, including the Bushehr nuclear power plant, which was hit for the third time in 10 days. Trump Diplomacy : In contrast, President Trump has extended the pause on attacks on Iran's energy infrastructure (such as power plants) until April 6, 2026. Trump claims peace talks are going "very well" and says Iranian leaders are "begging for a deal."
