UK advises zero screentime for children under two

Published 3 weeks, 3 days ago
Description

New guidance from the UK government is recommending that children under the age of five should be limited to one hour of screen time a day, while under twos should not be watching screens alone at all. The government says they accept that there are quite a lot of unknowns when it comes to screentime for kids, and it is best to take a precautionary approach.

Ollwyn Moran, Founder of Cognikids and Neurological Development Therapist, joins Ciara to discuss the new guidance, and look at some of the impacts of screentime on children.
