Ronald Nored, former Butler University player and current Atlanta Hawks assistant coach, is leaving his NBA role to become the head coach at his alma mater. Nored, who played for Butler from 2008 to 2012 and was part of back-to-back national championship game teams, will lead the Bulldogs program after gaining experience in the NBA. The Hawks, currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, will face the Celtics on March 27th without Nored.
