HCF tops list for private health complaints

Australians lodged more than 3,400 complaints about private health insurers, with HCF receiving the highest number of complaints from dissatisfied customers. The majority of grievances involved claims being underpaid or denied entirely, while other customers faced difficulties cancelling their cover or obtaining refunds after switching providers. The watchdog has revealed the insurance companies with the highest complaint rates.
