The time is now 4:02 PM in New York, I'm Noa Levi and this is the latest Israel Today: Ongoing War Report.

In Operation Lion's Roar, Israeli naval intelligence has directed massive and precise fire on specific targets as part of a variety of general goals in Operation Roaring Lion. The Israeli navy is contributing on all fronts, hammering Hezbollah so that the air force can focus more on the Islamic Republic. Naval intelligence has assisted in recent days with assassinating Iranian Naval Chief Alireza Tangsiri, with eliminating key Iranian naval cruise missile production sites, and Iranian sites related to submarines and other underwater threats. The IAF, acting on information from the Naval Intelligence Division and the Military Intelligence Directorate, struck two key naval cruise-missile production sites in Tehran. The targeted sites operated under the command of the Iranian Defense Ministry and were used by the regime to develop and manufacture long-range naval cruise missiles capable of rapidly destroying targets at sea and on land. Such weapons could be used against the US and other allies, and the broader aim is to reduce Iran's capability to threaten the Straits of Hormuz.

In Direct Israel-Iran Clashes, explosions were heard across Tehran and Karaj City after the IDF announced a wave of strikes on regime terror targets. Over the past 24 hours, twenty IDF strikes were conducted across western Iran, targeting regime launching sites with attacks in Kermanshah and Dezful aimed at weapons storage and launching sites for ballistic missiles and aerial defense systems, also eliminating regime operatives within the sites. In addition, over sixty IAF fighter jets, acting on IDF intelligence, dropped more than 150 munitions to eliminate key Iranian weapon production sites in Tehran and central Iran over the course of Thursday. The IDF also struck Iran's primary missile and defense system production facility in Parchin, as well as a factory for casting and filling warheads with explosive materials. An additional site for mixing and casting ballistic missile engines was also targeted, along with a manufacturing site for critical components used in developing solid-fuel ballistic missiles. Central Iranian targets struck overnight included a Quds Force production site. Iranian opposition sources reported two responses to the strikes this evening.

In Regional Impacts, Gulf nations take lead on Iran at UN while Europe weakens stance, Danon tells 'Post' - interview, Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon says regional rivals have set aside their differences to face a common threat. He notes that Gulf states are now openly coordinating with determination and assertiveness against Iran, pointing to a Security Council resolution by Gulf countries condemning Iranian attacks and Bahrain’s move to table a maritime freedom resolution with strong language about freedom of navigation in the Straits of Hormuz. Danon also criticized European countries—particularly France—for pushing a “light resolution,” arguing that such proposals soften the stance against Iran.

In the Conflict with Iran and its Regional Proxies, IDF Sergeant Aviaad Volansky was killed in Hezbollah anti-tank fire in southern Lebanon. The 21-year-old Jerusalem soldier was killed when Hezbollah fired two anti-tank missiles at his unit; one was intercepted, the other hit a tank, lightly wounding four soldiers, the IDF said. The attack occurred near the Litani River, illustrating that Hezbollah remains a threat to IDF operations in Lebanon. Separately, Iranian security forces are accused of using civilians as cover to avoid strikes. Testimonies describe security forces assembling in schools and universities and even moving inside hospitals, with checkpoints established to create traffi
