He served 30+ years on the school board, becoming the first Black president and launching the Scholar Athlete Award. Appointed to a national health advisory board, he earned Living Legend status. Survived by family, his impact on students and community endures. Visitation April 10th, funeral April 11th at Carter Metropolitan CME Church.
