First female Archbishop of Canterbury enthroned

Dame Sarah Mullally has been enthroned as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, becoming the first woman to hold the position in the Church of England's history. Around 2,000 people, including the Prince and Princess of Wales and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, attended the ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral. In her first sermon, she emphasised the importance of safeguarding against abuse in the Church.
