Description
The book of Joshua records Israel entering and taking possession of the Promised Land under Joshua’s leadership. The Lord commands Joshua to be strong and courageous and to obey the Book of the Law. God gives victory over Jericho and other cities, showing His faithfulness to His promises. Rahab demonstrates faith in the Lord and is spared, while Achan’s disobedience brings judgment on Israel. Joshua shows that success in the land depends on obedience to God’s Word and trust in His promises.
