DIRCO'S Deputy Minister Thandi Moraka has concluded her participation at the inaugural CELAC-Africa High-Level Forum in Bogota, Colombia. The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC)-Africa High-Level Forum is aimed at strengthening political, economic, and cultural ties between Latin America, the Caribbean, and the African continent. The CELAC-Africa High-Level Forum, reiterating their country's commitment to strengthening bi-regional ties, convening the presence of regional leaders for a substantive dialogue and Plan of Action to further develop cooperation and strategic alliances within regions. Trade and Tourism, Culture, Cooperation among developing countries, Global Peace, Environmental Justice, and Reparations are among the topics in this strategic inter-regional dialogue. This is a milestone in consolidating a process to build a solid South-to-South inter-regional community.
