The New Orleans Saints could scoop up Duke's Chandler Rivers in the 2026 NFL Draft to bring a pure cover corner to their nickel role. However, Rivers will have some development strides to make before he could completely replace Alontae Taylor's expansive sill set at the STAR.

Rivers is an outstanding production player at the catch point with undeniable skills, but the Saints would have to prove to be the right fit for him to grow into more pass-rusher, run-stopper disruptive roles.
