On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today John Bain attends the Mount Pleasant Iowa School District Board Meeting where a Public Hearing was held on the Fiscal Year 2027 Certified Budget. The Board also held a Public Hearing on Closure of Salem Elementary at the conclusion of 2026-2027 School Year. The Public was allowed to speak on both topics and they did. It was a packed house. It all appened March 23, 2026.
