Description
There’s a Spider in My Hair! is an educational children's book published by Children in Scotland to support the GIRFEC national wellbeing framework. The story follows two dogs, Bud and Dee, who wander away from home without permission to solve a minor problem and eventually become lost and frightened. Through their misadventure, a police dog intervenes to rescue them and return them to their worried families. The resource is specifically designed for educators and parents to use with children aged three to six to discuss personal safety and identifying trusted adults. It includes interactive discussion prompts and activities that teach young readers how to seek help and the importance of staying in safe, familiar areas.
