The Chicago White Sox have signed veteran catcher Reese McGuire to a one-year deal, adding experience and leadership to their catching corps. McGuire, who previously played with Toronto, Boston, and the Cubs, will back up Edgar Quero and provide a left-handed bat to complement Queros right-handed hitting.
