This week on Stuff Yer Face, we’re revisiting Feature Producer Emily Tucker's conversation with Heidi and Julian Zepeda, co-owners of Tortilleria Zepeda in Lone Rock, Wisconsin. This husband-and-wife tortilla team met in Julian’s home of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and relocated closer to Heidi’s home in southwestern Wisconsin. Finding themselves surrounded by cornfields and lacking the type of tortillas Julian craved, they dove into making their own using traditional processes perfected by Mesoamericans thousands of years ago.
