Description

Australia has struck a long-negotiated free-trade deal with the European Union.

The pact is worth around $10 billion in two-way trade after eight years of talks.

The deal confirms Australian winemakers will be able to keep using the name “Prosecco” for domestic sales.

Katherine Brown is a winemaker at Brown Brothers Wine in Victoria’s King Valley, one of Australia’s Prosecco heartlands.
