Thanksgiving has become my favorite holiday and it's slowly but surely taken the place of Christmas just for the sheer fact that it is so much easier to celebrate. You cook a side, get together with family, sit around for hours visiting and go home without a holiday hangover. There's no big build up or much prep for Thanksgiving day other than making sure you have your ingredients purchased early before the grocery store shelves are cleared out. It's really just a great holiday to celebrate but unfortunately a black cloud still hovers over Thanksgiving Day as people gear up for Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping. It's almost as if those days have become national holidays themselves.
